Report: Fire Breaks Out at Germantown Grocery

Investigators are trying to determine what caused a blaze at a Germantown grocery Wednesday afternoon.

WUSA9 was at the scene of the complex that houses Halal House Fresh Food Markets on Waters Road and has posted several photos at its website, WUSA9.com.

Firefighters to the 1900 block of Waters Road at around 11:16 a.m. and called in more units due to the size of the building and the nature of the blaze,  Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Spokeswoman Beth Anne Nesselt told Patch. 

The bulk of the fire was extinguished by 11:43 a.m.

There were no injuries, Nesselt said.
