Teen Charged After Firing Shots At MoCo School Bus Stop
A Clarksburg teen was charged last week as an adult with attempted murder following a March 13 shooting at a school bus stop, police said.

GERMANTOWN, MD — A Clarksburg teen was charged last week as an adult with attempted first-degree murder, following a March 13 shooting in the 19300 block of Archdale Road in Germantown.
Jaiden Ochieng, 16, was arrested Sept. 6 after Montgomery County Police said he chased a youth and fired gunshots at him.
Ochieng drove up to a school bus stop in a stolen Hyundai, and the 15-year-old male victim got off a bus at the location, Ochieng got out of the Hyundai and chased the victim. A police news release said Ochieng shot at the victim, who was not injured, and Ochieng then fled the scene.

Investigators found two shell casings in the area of Trophy Court and Archdale Road and identified Ochieng as the shooting suspect.
An arrest warrant for Ochieng charged him with attempted first-degree-murder, first-degree assault, use of a firearm in the commission of a violent felony and theft related charges.

Ochieng was arrested Sept. 6 in the 13300 block of Copper Ridge Road in Germantown, where officers seized a loaded handgun that police said was reported stolen out of Clinton.
After his arrest, charges were added for possession of a firearm on school property, possession of a loaded handgun and underage possession of a firearm.
Ochieng was taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he has been charged as an adult. He is being held without bond.
