Third Teen Charged In Case Of Germantown Killing

Montgomery County Police arrested a 16-year-old in connection with the death of 20-year-old Taon Lamont Cline.

GERMANTOWN, MD — A third teenager was arrested in connection with the shooting death of 20-year-old Taon Lamont Cline, Montgomery County Police said.

Malachi Hney, 16, is being charged with first degree murder, along with Malik Hney, 15, and Justin Acosta, 14.

Officers found Cline the night of April 22 with multiple gunshot wounds after a call came in about a shooting. He was on the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road, where he died, according to a police news release.
