GERMANTOWN, MD — The 2019-2020 duck season may be over. But that doesn't mean you can't swing by Little Seneca Lake and ogle decoys and other local art with a glass of wine.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, Montgomery Parks will host its Wine and Waterfowl event at the Black Hill Visitor Center in Boyds. During the event, attendees can sip on wine and view the winning artwork for the 2019 US Fish and Wildlife Service's Federal Duck Stamp Contest. Proceeds from the stamp sale will help protect habitats for birds and other wildlife, park officials say.

Rocklands Farm Winery in Poolesville will be serving 2019 Anna's Rosé, 2018 Honey Blossom (Semi Dry White) and 2018 Sandstone (Cabernet Franc).
