Woman Goes Into Labor As Firefighters Install Car Seat
Perfect timing: A woman went into labor as firefighters installed a car seat for her at a Germantown fire station.

GERMANTOWN, MD — A woman went into labor as firefighters installed a child car seat in her car at a Germantown fire station Wednesday morning, officials said.
The mother went to Milestone Fire Station 34 in Germantown to get a car seat installed. She went into labor as firefighters installed the car seat.
The mom and dad are being transported to a local hospital by an EMS crew, David Pazos, the Battalion Chief with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, said.

Residents can attend open car seat checks scheduled at firehouses in Montgomery County, or they can make an individual appointment.
