UPDATE: 1,800 BGE Customers, 2 Schools Lose Power
BGE customers lost power shortly after 10 a.m. Friday, and are still without power as of 11 a.m.
UPDATE 3/15 11:32 a.m.: AACPS is reporting power has been restored to both Hilltop Elementary and North County High Schools. The BGE outage website no longer reports any outages in the Ferndale area.

North County High School is without power as of 11:15 a.m., and are joined by more than 1,800 BGE customers, according to the company's website. Hilltop Elementary also lost power, but it has since been restored.
The schools currently have no plans to dismiss students, according to a spokesperson for Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
The BGE outage map shows an outage in Ferndale, first reported at 10:16 a.m. A repair crew is working to restore power and the estimated time of full restoration is 1 p.m., according to the website.
