GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 13-year-old was shot in the head with a BB gun in Glen Burnie, county police announced Wednesday.

A press release said somebody flagged officers down in the 100 block of South Meadow Drive around 5 p.m. Tuesday to get help.

The victim reported that he was riding his bike in a parking lot in the 7400 block of Furnace Branch Road when three juveniles shot him with a BB pellet, authorities said.

Police said the victim had minor injuries but did not need any medical attention.

Officers said they found the weapon nearby.

Authorities did not mention any leads on the suspects, but they are still investigating.
