6 Hurt in Crash on Ritchie Highway

A man in his 20s was treated for injuries following the two-car collision Sunday night.

Six people were injured Sunday evening in a crash involving two vehicles on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie, emergency officials said. 

Division Chief Keith Swindle of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said the crash happened at about 9 p.m. Sunday at the 7400 block of Ritchie Highway. 

Five people were transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center with minor injuries. A sixth patient, a man in his 20s, was taken to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening, Swindle said.
