  2. Indoors mask mandate is back in Arundel County. The action was taken in response to the recent surge in COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations, County Executive Steuart Pittman said Thursday. The mandate affects all indoor public spaces in Anne Arundel County and started on New Year’s Eve and is set to remain until Jan. 7. (Newsbreak)
  3. A man responsible for a shooting in Glen Burnie has been identified. Paul Pedro Rodriguez of Millersville has been identified as a suspect and charged with murder Thursday in the shooting death of a Glen Burnie man. The victim died from the wound on Wednesday at his apartment complex in the 400 block of Hideaway Loop, officials said. Rodriguez is under custody and will be charged accordingly. (Patch)
  4. Man sentenced to 16 years for assault. Montell Mills, 29, from Baltimore, refused to cooperate with police after officers saw him with marijuana at a gas station on Crain Highway on May 10. He tried to run over the two officers with his BMW and was arrested at the scene. (Fox Baltimore)
