Argument After Car Crash Leads To Assault Charges For Glen Burnie Man
Two drivers argued after what police called a minor crash, a Glen Burnie man hit the other driver and faces assault charges, records show.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Two drivers argued after what police called a minor collision about 9 p.m. Wednesday. A Glen Burnie man hit the other driver and faces a felony assault charge, court records show.
Anne Arundel County Police said that officers responded to an assault report in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. Investigators learned that the victim and suspect — Maylan Monroe Miller, 55, of Glen Burnie — were involved in a minor motor vehicle collision in a parking lot.
According to a police news release, the drivers argued and Miller retrieved a straight stick, similar to a shovel handle, from the trunk of his car. Miller is accused of striking the victim numerous times before returning to his vehicle and fleeing.

The victim suffered minor injuries and did not require medical aid. Officers found Miller and his vehicle a short time later. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
Maryland online court records show Miller is with first-degree assault, a felony, plus second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, which are both misdemeanors.

He is being held without bond.
