Anne Arundel County Police arrested a Brooklyn Park man Thursday in connection with several drug charges. Orlando Coates Jr., 41, was charged with manufacturing crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and Percocet with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and other drug and gun charges. According to a police press release, Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City police officers executed a search and seizure warrant in the 4900 block of Brookwood Road in Brooklyn Park after investigating possible drug activitiy at the residence. Officers found and seized about 4.6 grams of suspected cocaine, five suspected Percocet pills, a small amount of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia, a Ruger .45-caliber handgun, a 12-gauge shotgun and $205 in cash.
