Bubbakoo's offers unique twists on traditional Mexican dishes. Highlights include the hibachi steak and shrimp burritos, sriracha shredded pork nachos and Nashville hot chicken burritos. Other reimagined menu items are the General Tso's crispy chicken tacos, loaded queso curly fries and buffalo cauliflower burrito bowl.
Franchise Owner Parth Patel has been a long-time fan of Bubbakoo's, a national chain that started 15 years ago on the Jersey Shore. Patel is now eager to join the growing company.

"One of the best parts about Bubbakoo’s is the fanbase the brand has built over the years, and I’m proud to be expanding that fanbase into another Maryland community," Patel said in a press release. "Everything from the food to the décor to the customer service makes Bubbakoo’s a great restaurant experience – one that the Linthicum Heights community will certainly enjoy."
Paul Altero and Bill Hart launched Bubbakoo's in 2008 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. The business became known for its customizable burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas and nachos.
Bubbakoo's has since expanded to more than 100 locations across the country.
The chain said it recently ranked No. 238 on Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 list. That's up nearly 100 places from last year. This was the company's highest-ever ranking. It was also the third straight year that Bubbakoo's made the list.
Altero is thrilled that Patel made the jump from Bubbakoo's fan to franchisee.
"It is always exciting to see a longtime Bubbakoo’s Burritos fan turn into restaurant owner," Altero said in the release. "This brand was built on a passion for great food, excellent service and bringing together community members, and I’m glad that this has resonated with Parth. He is an excellent addition to the Bubbakoo’s family, and we’re looking forward to witnessing his many successes as a location owner."
