Capital: Glen Burnie Man to Serve 8 Years for Carjacking

Clarence Howard Simpson, 43, pleaded guilty in May to armed robbery and second-degree assault, according to The [Annapolis] Capital.

As reported by The [Annapolis] Capital Wednesday, a Glen Burnie man was sentenced to serve eight years in prison for two incidents in which he pulled a knife.

Clarence Howard Simpson, 43, pleaded guilty in May to carjacking two men at knifepoint during a drug deal in late December and then using the same knife to threaten two teenagers two weeks later, according to the Capital.

Simpson was sentenced to 20 years in prison with all but eight years suspended for armed robbery and 10 years with all but eight years suspended for second-degree assault to be served concurrently, the Capital reported.
