- Anne Arundel County fourth grader dies from COVID-19 complications. The 10-year-old boy, Stephen Wagner, was a fourth grader at Glen Burnie Elementary School. His family said he died on Wednesday due COVID-19 complications. A GoFundMe for his funeral costs started Saturday with a $10,000 goal but has surpassed $11,500 as of Monday evening. (CBS Baltimore)
- Anne Arundel County heavy snow made commute difficult. The county was hit with several inches of snow just a day after temperatures reached into the 60s. A Snow Emergency Plan was activated as roadways remained covered with snow most of the day. The Anne Arundel County Office of Emergency Management worked with partners as they responded to multiple accidents, stuck cars and downed power lines. (CBS Baltimore)
- Community Service: Clothing giveaways at Glen Burnie 'Hope for All.' Nonprofit organization, "Hope for All," located at 122 Roesler Road, Glen Burnie, works with churches, the Anne Arundel County public school system, and the Judy Center to serve populations in need by offering clothing giveaways throughout the year. - Nearby News: Some parents in Baltimore County are calling for remote learning. Parents and teachers are concerned about their safety as cases of COVID-19 are on rise. On Monday, the district announced two dozen will temporarily shift to virtual learning this week, while partially closing several others. Some parents said they are not happy with the district’s decision and believes in-person learning should be delayed temporarily at all schools in the county. (w2marnews)
