GLEN BURNIE, MD — Authorities continue to search for a man who fired multiple gunshots from a house on New Year's Eve in Glen Burnie, while a second shooter has been arrested. Dozens of shots were fired from the residence into a wooded area, prompting concern from neighbors, police said.

According to a news release from Anne Arundel County police, officers were called about 9:30 p.m. to the 7900 block of Stone Haven Drive in Glen Burnie for a report of shots fired. Police saw two males shooting from the back deck of the residence. The suspects saw the officer, dropped the weapons, and went into the residence.

As more police officers arrived, people began to leave the residence and were detained. When officers searched the residence, they found Rahim Demetrius Biggers, 45, of Glen Burnie in the basement, police said. He was identified as one of the shooters and was taken into custody.
