Fire Destroys Barn at Crabapple and Oakwood

A brush fire in Glen Burnie destroyed a barn on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded at about 4 p.m. to the area of Oakwood Road and Crabapple Court. Initial crews worked to battle the flames and asked for additional resources. It took 30 minutes to get the fire under control. 

There was no immediate estimate on the cost of damage and the cause is under investigation.
