When the County Council adopted the fiscal year 2013 budget, it funded for the new school year—including 75 new teachers. Last week, Anne Arundel County Public Schools spokesman Bob Mosier shared a preliminary list with Patch that shows least eight new teachers are coming to Glen Burnie area schools. The distribution of teachers is determined by regional assistant superintendents, who meet weekly throughout the summer to analyze school population data, Mosier said. Listed below are the Glen Burnie area schools scheduled to receive new teachers: <ul> <li>Brooklyn Park Elementary</li> <li> </li><li> </li><li> </li><li> </li><li> </li><li>—two teachers</li> </ul>
