Anne Arundel Boy, 10, Dies From COVID-19 Complications: Fundraiser
A Glen Burnie boy died from COVID-19 complications, a fundraiser said. He was 10 years old. A GoFundMe raised about $15,000 for his funeral.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 10-year-old Glen Burnie boy died last week from COVID-19 complications, a fundraiser said. The GoFundMe campaign identified the child as Stephen Wagner.
The child attended Hilltop Elementary School. Wagner played violin in the school’s strings group and sang in its chorus. The fundraiser said Wagner also enjoyed fishing and bowling before he died on Dec. 29, 2021.
The drive will pay for Wagner’s funeral expenses, hospital bills and unforeseen charges.

One giver, Thomas O'Neill, started bawling after he heard about Wagner’s death on the radio.
“I lost a child many years ago and I know how excruciating the pain is,” O’Neill said in a note with his donation. “I'm so sorry for your loss.”
