Glen Burnie's 'Stone Cold Money' Wins $50K In Fast Play Big Win
The Anne Arundel County resident plans to use his $50,000 Fast Play winnings to buy a house for his family, lottery officials said.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A dream come true, an eight-year stressed information technology professional from Glen Burnie recently won big when he cashed in on a $50,000 Fast Play Big Win prize.
Known only as "Stone Cold Money," Maryland Lottery did not identify the Anne Arundel County man by name.
Lottery officials said Friday that Stone Cold Money always dreamt of winning big playing the lottery, and he did just that after what officials said was a stressful day at work.

The man was searching for a mental break, when he found himself at a North Ritchie Highway grocery store, officials said.
He then bought two $10 Fast Play Big Win tickets, a few $10 Fast Play Casino Royale tickets and some scratch-offs. After buying the tickets and groceries, he proceeded to order lunch.

While waiting for the food, the man sat in his car and scanned the tickets on the state lottery app. He was having no luck with the tickets - but then, on the last Fast Play ticket, he won the $50,000 prize.
“Oh my God,” the man said before becoming speechless, per officials.
After noticing no one in the parking lot was watching him, he shared the good news with his wife, mother and friend.
The man plans to use his winnings to buy a house for his family, officials said.
Since the Big Win ticket went into play in January, there have been 23 unclaimed $100,000 prizes, 19 additional $50,000 prizes, 29 $20,000 prizes and 33 $10,000 prizes, officials said.
