Group Assaults, Robs Elderly Man at Glen Burnie Towne Center
Police are seeking information on six men involved in a robbery late Tuesday.
Anne Arundel County police are seeking information on six suspects involved in a robbery and assault late Tuesday in Glen Burnie.
Shortly after 11 p.m., a 64-year-old man flagged down a police officer and said he had been robbed in the Toys "R" Us parking lot at Glen Burnie Towne Center, on the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway.
According to police, six men approached the victim, threatened him and demanded money. The suspects took property from the victim and several of the men assaulted him, one taking the victim's walking stick and striking him.
The man was knocked to the ground, and the suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.
