Employee Stabs Coworker At Anne Arundel County Fast-Food Restaurant: Police

An employee stabbed her coworker at an Anne Arundel fast-food eatery, police said. The victim was hospitalized and the suspect was arrested.

LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD — An employee stabbed her coworker recently at a Hardee's in Linthicum Heights, police said.

Officers said the victim was hospitalized. Authorities expect the victim to survive.

Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Micha Jaala Kennedy of Randallstown. Officers said they arrested her without further incident.

Authorities said the stabbing happened last Friday around 2 p.m. at the fast-food restaurant, located at 718 Nursery Road.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said the employee got upset with the coworker and stabbed them in the back with a large knife.

Court records show that Kennedy is charged with:

  • Attempted second-degree murder (Felony)
  • First-degree assault (Felony)
  • Second-degree assault (Misdemeanor)
  • Dangerous weapon-conceal (Misdemeanor)
  • Reckless endangerment (Misdemeanor)

Judge Laura Robinson on Monday ordered the suspect to be held without bond until her trial, the record says.
