- Anne Arundel County hospital workers donated more than 500 Christmas presents to children earlier this month. The University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center adopted at least 135 angels. That was the most adoptions from any Anne Arundel County company this year. It took three SUVs, two pick-up trucks and a pair of cars to haul the load to The Salvation Army Service Center in Glen Burnie. (Glen Burnie Patch)
