Linthicum Man Charged with Sharing Child Porn, Possession of Counterfeit Bills
Police say they conducted a six-month investigation into the online activities of a 48-year-old Linthicum man.

Police have charged a Linthicum man in the distribution of child pornography at his home six months after an investigation began into his alleged online activities.
Stephen Edward Evans, 48, of Twin Oaks Road in Linthicum, is charged with distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography and possession of forged currency.
Police seized computers, phones and $1,680 in counterfeit currency when they served a search warrant on Evans' home, according to a press release. Investigators uncovered more than 1,900 images and videos of child pornography, police said.
After police issued formal charges against Evans Monday, he surrendered at the Maryland State Police Glen Burnie Barrack on Tuesday. He has been released on $20,000 bail.
Investigators began tracking the activity of the suspect in May, when the Anne Arundel County Police Department received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that indicated he had been receiving and trading child pornography online, according to the news release.
