- Maryland State Police warns motorists of the danger of leaving vehicles unattended after receiving reports of two cars stolen in Bel Air in separate incidents. A few minutes before 3:30 a.m., on Saturday, a Bel Air Barrack trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on westbound Route 22 at Sablewood Road after receiving reports that the 2014 Hyundai Elantra had been reported stolen, police said. - A notorious panhandler is accused of shooting a store employee after he and the owner handed over $10,000 in cash. Voshawn Sample, 47, is wanted for armed robbery, first degree assault, and other lesser related charges. According to the U.S. Marshal’s Service, Sample committed an armed robbery at Champion Liquors in Glen Burnie, on Sept. 30. (Fox Baltimore)
- Officials on Tuesday released the name of an armed man who was fatally shot by police this weekend in Glen Burnie. Authorities identified him as Digno Ramon Yorro Jr. Officers also found Yorro's mother dead upon arrival. (Glen Burnie Patch)
- Ferndale Volunteer Fire Company will host a fun Breakfast with Santa on this coming Saturday, Dec. 4 at 8 a.m., in Glen Burnie. Bring your camera and take a picture with Santa!
