- A Glen Burnie man responsible for a fatal crash that killed a U.S. Army vet is pleading guilty. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for Feb. 3. Guarav Rawal is also being charged with failure to remain at the accident scene and for driving under the influence. (Newsbreak)
- The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County held a meeting to consider a new policy for students with a known food allergy. The new policy proposes the involvement of medical professionals to help with the management of food allergies in public schools. (AASD)
- Nearby News: A man was seriously injured after having his legs stuck in an industrial bread machine. The accident happened in northeast Baltimore Saturday morning. Crews spent 11 hours on the scene of the accident helping to free him from the trap. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. (Fox Baltimore)
