Man Stabs Victim in Neck, Flees on Bicycle

Police are seeking a man who stabbed a victim during a robbery in Glen Burnie early Saturday.

Anne Arundel County police are seeking information on a man who stabbed a victim during a robbery in Glen Burnie early Saturday, according to a department press release.

Shortly after 12 a.m., a man riding a bicycle approached the 34-year-old victim near the 1200 block of Leonard Drive, and stabbed the victim in the neck. The man took the victim's laptop bag and rode away on his bike toward Freetown Road, according to police.

Arriving officers searched the immediate area but failed to locate the suspect.

An emergency crew transported the victim to Shock Trauma, where he is in stable condition, police said.

Police described the suspect as a black male, between 30 and 40 years old, 6-feet tall, gray facial hair, wearing all dark clothing and riding a mountain bike.
