Volunteer with Women Recently Released from Correctional Facilities
Evangelical Ministries of Glen Burnie, a nonprofit that works with women who recently were released from area correctional facilities, is looking for volunteer mentors.

Evangelical Ministries of Glen Burnie is looking for adult women to volunteer as mentors to women recently released from area correctional facilities.
According to a press release from the Volunteer Center For Anne Arundel County, women are needed as volunteers to mentor women who have been released from Ordnance Road Correctional Center and the Maryland Correctional Institution for Women.
Mentors are described as being similar to sponsors of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. Volunteers are asked to listen to and encourage the women in meetings that are held at the Evangelical Ministries—located at 9A Central Ave.—from 7-8 p.m. one night a week.
