“This is an outstanding addition to our program,” Corkran Principal Adam Zetwick said in a release. “Our students and our staff do incredible things in our classrooms, and the partnership of organizations like the Rotary opens even more doors to success.”
The Rotary Club raised the $4,000 needed for the tablets by reaching out to members for donations and applied for a grant from the Rotary Foundation. The NAACCC Foundation, Inc.’s Helping Teachers Teach also donated $1,000 toward purchasing charging stations for the Chromebooks.
