Motorcyclist Still in Critical Condition After Accident Sunday

The motorcyclist involved in is still in critical condition at the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, according to Anne Arundel County Police Department spokesman Justin Mulcahy. 

Identified as Amanda Tilman, 29, of Glen Burnie, Mulcahy said the motorcyclist was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Quarterfield Road and Parke West Drive before she proceeded on a green signal.

As she entered the intersection, a Ford minivan began making a left turn and failed to yield to the motorcycle, Mulcahy said.

Tilman reportedly tried to stop in time but collided with the minivan.

"The driver of the van received a citation at the scene for failing to yield to a motorcycle," Mulcahy said.
