Nine Marijuana Plants Found in Curtis Bay Man's Apartment, Police Said

Police charged Kwane Greenide, 36, with possession with intent to distribute marijuana as well as other drug-related charges Tuesday after receiving a tip he may be growing the drugs in his home.

Police arrested a Curtis Bay man after receiving an anonymous complaint of marijuana plants growing at a residence.

Kwane Owusu Greenide, 36, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, manufacturing marijuana and the possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and drug packaging material.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the 400 block of Carvel Beach Road in Curtis Bay at about 10 a.m. Monday after receiving an anonymous complaint alleging that marijuana was being grown in the apartment.

Once on the scene, detectives saw nine suspected marijuana plants in various stages of growth, which they seized and later determined to have an estimated street value of $3,300, police said.
