If you see him, DO NOT chase him. Sit, and coax him to come to you using food to attract him if you have it. Dogs will develop a pattern of a circle once they develop a food source and safe place to sleep. The first instinct will be to chase him but this will knock him out of his pattern and send him running wildly again, making it more difficult to find him.
With colder weather coming, BARCS representatives said they are afraid that if he is not found soon, he will die from exposure or be hit by a car.
Anyone who sees Trumpet is asked to immediately call Flo at 801-643-4912 and Becky at 443-739-8975.
