Anne Arundel County firefighters responded to a two-alarm brush fire at 3:45 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Marlboro Road, near Baylor Road and close to , according to fire department spokesman Steve Thompson.

Glen Burnie: Fatal shooting

A Glen Burnie man was found dead Thursday afternoon from an apparent gunshot to the head, police said.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the 1500 block of Furnace Avenue in Glen Burnie at about 3 p.m. Thursday for a reported shooting and found Ray William Collingnon, 53, dead with an apparent gunshot wound to his head.
