  1. Anne Arundel County police are investigating a fatal shooting in Glen Burnie. A Glen Burnie man was shot in his apartment at the 400 block of Hideaway Loop. Paramedics took the victim to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Police said officers were looking for one or more suspects, but they were not able to provide a description. No one is in custody. (WBAL TV Baltimore)
  2. Salvation Army of Central Maryland earned $485,000 for holiday season. This year’s profits matched last year’s, and will directly benefits the programs in Hampden, West Baltimore, Havre De Grace, Glen Burnie, Carroll County and Howard County.   3. Residential parking permits expires soon. The City of Baltimore recommends current permit holding residents to renew their permits and new residents to get their parking permits as soon as possible. Anyone with a parking permit that does not have an expiration date in 2022 will be at risk for citation. (Newsbreak)
  4. COVID-19 quarantine rules for Anne Arundel County Public Schools changes. Class will return on Jan. 3, and anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 must isolate for five days and must be asymptomatic before returning to school or work. The new guidance was received from the Anne Arundel County Department of Health. (Patch)
