Police to Charge Man With Attempted Murder of Wife

Both Ward and his wife were listed in serious but stable condition as of Monday morning, according to a police press release.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Orchard Avenue in Brooklyn Park at about 8:05 p.m. Sunday for a reported domestic assault and stabbing, police officials said.
Once on the scene, officers found Ward inside the home suffering from apparent self-inflicted stab wounds and his wife, a 37-year-old woman, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Medics took Ward and his wife to shock trauma. Detectives investigating the incident spoke with witnesses, executed warrants and gathered evidence leading to the charges brought against Ward.
