- Anne Arundel County School District and the county health department announced that three vaccination clinics will be open in Glen Burnie. The vaccines will be offered for children ages 5 to 11. Dates and locales are Jan. 25, at Marley Elementary School; Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Woodside Elementary School; and Feb. 2, at Rippling Woods Elementary School. (CBS Baltimore)
- A new church is planning to be opened in Glen Burnie. Church leaders are planning to sell the church buildings at Crucifixion, Good Shepherd and the former Holy Trinity to move forward with the new project.
