Video: Heavy Rain Blitzes Through Glen Burnie Area

A torrential downpour covered the Glen Burnie area Tuesday afternoon, creating a slip-and-slide situation just in time for workers to get to their cars for their evening commute.

Northwestern Anne Arundel County received a warning around 4:30 p.m. of possible 35- to 60-mph winds, and the Severn area received its share of the unruly weather front.

But, as quickly as it came, the storm was over, the sun was shining and residents were left with a rather wet and puzzled "what the heck just happened?" type of feeling.
