Video: Old Mill Tryouts Set Tone for State Championship Aspirations

After Damian Ferragamo stepped down as head football coach at , fans throughout the county looked to see who would fill the State Championship-winning coach's shoes. For the Patriots, the replacement was right in front of them.

Among the candidates, the Patriots' own wide receivers and special teams coach was selected to lead the Class 4A powerhouse to another playoff season. Chad McCormick now carries the brunt of the pressure as he seeks to take the boys in blue and red to their 13th straight playoff appearance. 

With a squad full of offensive playmakers, McCormick will count on All-County talent like senior captain and linebacker Terrance Brownlee to keep other Anne Arundel teams at bay.
