WATCH: Area Musicians Entertain in Flash Orchestra

Donors to the Londontowne Symphony Orchestra (LSO) may have expected to get some entertainment Tuesday evening, during a fundraiser at Homestead Gardens, in Davidsonville, but they probably didn't think it would come in the form of a flash orchestra.

Starting with a drummer and a clarinetist, eventually more than 50 musicians matriculated into position over the 14-minute rendition of Ravel's Bolero.

Tickets and donations from the event went to the LSO concert and educational programs. Many of the LSO concerts take place at South River High School.

LSO, founded in 2002, consists of nearly 80 classical musicians from around Anne Arundel County.
