Woman Kidnapped In Anne Arundel County, Thrown Off Baltimore City Bridge: Police

A woman was carjacked and kidnapped in Glen Burnie. The suspects threw her off a bridge into a Baltimore City creek, police said.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Police said a woman was carjacked and kidnapped this weekend in Glen Burnie. The two suspects then threw the victim off a bridge and into a Baltimore City creek, officers alleged.

Authorities said the victim survived but was hospitalized. Police expect her to survive.

Officers said they were called around 7 a.m. Saturday to Crew Boats To Go, located in Baltimore at 6211 Old Pennington Avenue, for a carjacking that happened in Anne Arundel County.

The victim reported she was dropping a friend off around 2:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Milton Avenue in Glen Burnie when two suspects approached her, authorities said.

The victim alleged that the female suspect dragged her from the car and threw her in the trunk with the male suspect's help, police said.

While the victim was still in the trunk, officers said the suspects drove away in her black 2012 Mercedes 550 sedan.

The car stopped on Baltimore's Pennington Avenue drawbridge, authorities said.

Police alleged that the suspects pulled the victim from the trunk and threw her off the bridge into Curtis Creek.

The suspects fled in the victim's car, officers said.

Authorities described the suspects as:

  • White man between 35 and 40 years old with short, light brown hair
  • Heavy-set white woman between 35 and 40 years old with light brown hair and a missing front tooth

Detectives are still investigating.
