2 Injured In Fight Over Property, Greenbelt Police Search For Suspect
Police said officers also received reports of a man matching the suspect's description knocking on doors.
GREENBELT, MD — Greenbelt police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a fight over property that left two people injured.
Police said officers were called to 28 Crescent St. shortly before 9:20 p.m. for a report of a cutting. According to police, two people sustained minor injuries before the suspect ran away.
In a separate statement, authorities said officers determined the incident was not random. According to police, an argument over property ended in a fight in which two people were injured. Police said a weapon with a blade was present but none of the injuries were caused by the blade.

Police said the suspect took the property before fleeing.
According to authorities, the suspect is described as a tall Black male wearing a black jacket, light-colored shirt and blue jeans.

Police said officers also received reports of a man matching the suspect's description knocking on doors in the Crescent Road area and asking to be let in. Residents in the area should make sure their homes are secured and all doors are locked.
