Murder Charge Filed In Fatal Shooting Of Greenbelt Man: DC Police
Homicide detectives charged a D.C. man Tuesday in connection with the Aug. 7 fatal shooting of 31-year-old Adrian Mack of Greenbelt.

GREENBELT, MD — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department arrested a D.C. man Tuesday in connection with the fatal shooting of 31-year-old Adrian Mack of Greenbelt in August, according to a police release.
Officers responded around 12:17 a.m., on Aug 7, for the report of the sound of gunshots in the 300 block of 50th Street, Northeast. After finding Mack suffering from gunshot wounds, he was taken to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Acting on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant on Tuesday, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 24-year-old Dionte Anderson of Southeast, according to police. Anderson was taken to MPD's homicide branch, where he was charged with second degree murder while armed.
