• Roman telescope construction complete, moving into final testing ahead of 2027 launch (nasaspaceflight.com) — NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt has completed construction of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, moving the project into its final testing phase before a planned May 2027 launch on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy. Built and integrated in Greenbelt, Roman will head to a deep-space orbit to survey vast areas of the sky, hunt exoplanets, and collect enormous amounts of data that local scientists and institutions may help analyze.
