Two Cockeysville high school students were honored as commended students in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Sara Mostafa and William Harrison, both of McDonogh School in Owings Mills, were among the approximately 34,000 commended students nationwide who placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students entered in the competition, according to a press release.
