Bomb Squad Robot Detonates Bottle Bomb at Cockeysville Senior Center

The destructive device was found on Friday morning.

The Baltimore County Police Department's Bomb Squad used a robot to detonate a soda acid bottle bomb found at the Cockeysville Senior Center.

The device was discovered at 8:18 a.m. Friday at a mixed-use parking lot and basketball court at the center, according to a Cockeysville precinct police report. There were no injuries.

Baltimore County police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton said Monday that police currently have no suspects.
