The school system already has the jobs of two senior officials expected to be reassigned on the job opportunities section of its website.

Despite job openings posted on the Baltimore County Public Schools website, the school system still won't confirm the two senior officials who most recently held the positions will be reassigned.

"We don't comment on personnel matters," said Charles Herndon, a school system spokesman.

According to the assistant superintendent listing that was posted on July 5, the new hire would start immediately and have a salary of $157,436.

The chief communications officer opening was put on the website July 3—ahead of Patch's story. The new hire is expected to start on Aug. 1, and would receive a $141,457 salary, according to the listing.

Patch requested the current salaries for Peccia and Reese on July 5. Herndon said Thursday he would provide the salaries at a later date.

Reese had previously been criticized for taking more than one month to of former Deputy Superintendent Renee Foose. It's unclear why Peccia is expected to be reassigned.
