Charcoal Deli Competes in Mission: Small Business Competition
The Cockeysville eatery has the opportunity to win a grant of $250,000.

an eatery featuring barbecue and sandwiches, could win a $250,000 grant through the Chase Mission: Small Business competition.
The contest, which will award up to 12 grants, is intended to positively impact small businesses, according to the Chase website. Small Businesses that have entered the competition are required to provide a growth plan and explain the community involvement.
The community can vote for the through the website. For every vote, Chase will put $5 in the grant pool, up to $3 million.

Each business that receives 250 votes will be evaluated by Chase, and the winners will be announced on or before Sept. 15, according to contest rules.
Voting ends on June 30.
