Cockeysville Driver Involved in Fatal Car Crash

A 44-year-old Cockeysville man was involved in a car accident that claimed the life of a Reisterstown woman on Wednesday night.

The man was traveling in a 2005 Chevrolet C5500 truck with a chipper in tow southbound on Falls Road north of Gadd Road when he drove off the roadway and hit rocks along an enbankment. The vehicle then crossed into the northbound lane and hit a 2009 Subaru Forrester driven by 69-year-old Deirdre Diane Huddle, according to a Baltimore County police news release. Huddle was declared dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation, police said.

A police dispatch officer provided an incorrect age for Huddle, of the unit block of Fiske Avenue, when Patch of the fatality Wednesday night.
