Cockeysville Library Boasts Highest Numbers in Summer Reading Club

Of the total 48,413 participants, 5,741 were from the Cockeysville branch.

It was a record-breaking year for Baltimore County Public Library's 2012 Summer Reading Club, and the branch had the highest number of participants with 5,741.

The program, which ran from June 11 to Aug. 12, had the theme of "Dream Big: Read!" for pre-school and elementary-age kids, and "Own the Night" for older participants, according to a news release from the county library system.

Last year, a total of 45,971 participants were recorded.
