Creative Kids To Host National Night Out Event

Creative Kids Cockeysville is putting on a celebration for National Night Out.

According to the National Night Out website, the intent of the program includes raising awareness about drugs and crime, and fostering relations between police and the community.

The nonprofit community center, located at 25 Tradewind Circle, will host its third annual event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 7.

"We'll have a free community carnival and maybe dinner," said Jennie Fumarola, director of Creative Kids.

Fumarola added that the center is looking for volunteers to help out with the event.
