With the weather projected to be in the high 70s and mostly sunny, the conditions are ideal for a day fishing with dad. From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., participants can fish at the lake, which contains blue gills and largemouth bass. Poles and worms will be provided.

For the more active dad, join this 5K and one-mile fun run that begins at 8 a.m. at Executive Plaza. Funds raised benefit the Greater Baltimore Medical Center's neonatal intensive care unit. Register online.
Groove with dad at Ladew's annual Father's Day concert featuring The Crawdaddies, an emerging roots rock group. Starting at 6 p.m., guests are invited to bring picnics, chairs and blankets.
